Sombra started off with the entire empire’s might enslaved to his will. Any place he took over, he likely converted any non-soldiers into his brainwashed soldiers who may be prone to continuing to fight regardless of injury until they outright drop dead. We only saw infantry, but Sombra is on the battlefield himself and his powers alone could wipe out entire squads should he shoot up on a spire before attacking.

I don’t understand, how is Sombra and celestia at a deadlock? Celestia has air superiority, and mages. How is Sombra holding with just Infantry?
