Presumably. Like I said all I know is what was written on EQD.  
Does anyone know if those campaigns (this isn’t the first one they released) have a written ending or is it up to the players and GM to come up with one?

All I know about it is what I learned from EQD article (well more of a news snippet really) in the source:
 
Imagine a world in which Princess Celestia failed to defeat her sister. Imagine a world where a sinister reflection of Princess Luna stands victorious, and Equestria lies in darkness. This is the realm of shadow, a parallel world, a separate dimension from the Equestria we know and love.
On a certain Nightmare Night, when Ponyville is full of celebration, a bridge to this realm is opened, and the shadows set their sights on the world of light.

So this is apparently set in a timeline where Celestia lost to NMM during their initial confrontation 1000 years ago…  
Ok, I have two questions:  
Why is Luna red?  
Why is she appearing as Luna and not Nightmare Moon?  
WHY IS SHE RED?!?!?!!
