Guess who’s extremely hyped for Season 9? THIS GUY!
 
Anyway, on account of the preview which we got just a few days ago, I got inspired to draw something MLP related, and more importantly King Sombra related. Imagine my surprise when I found that little picture I linked. In that instance, it got me inspired to create an entirely new item noone has actually made, yet. Obviously it’s based on an existing concept, but the execution is fresh. Here, let me explain:
 
A possible story idea could be that following Sombra’s return, and eventual defeat, he retreats to fight another day. And in the following days, he gets an idea to obtain complete victory. But it will require help from fiends as evil as him to accomplish this goal. After that, it’s a simple matter of performing a scavenger hunt for the tools he needs to create a powerful new artifact from an existing one he possibly created: the Alicorn Amulet. And with the incredible alicorn magic he tore from Flurry Heart’s being, King Sombra holds both Dark AND Light magic inside him, which probably protected him from being destroyed again by the mane six (Not actually saying this happened, but it could happen).
 
 
Now, he can begin seeking out the other five sources of magic he requires. Each one embodies, and manipulates a singular aspect of existence, itself. And during his villain team recruitment time, he studied a spell to compress some of these magical sources into physical singularities. All of which will be bonded to the amulet in order to add to its power, and his own. When he acquire all six singularities, he will become the most powerful being in Equestria to surpass even The Elements of Harmony. He will overthrow the tyranny of Light, and allow Darkness to balance it out, and he reigns supreme.
 
These are the six singularities combined that represent the Infinity Stones:
 
The Alicorn Amulet: Power Red (The amulet enhances the natural power of its wielder with almost godlike potency)
 
The Crystal heart: Soul Blue (Its power is drawn from the hope, and light within Crystal Ponies to cast out the dark forces - and Sombra had it shattered for a shard of its mass for this power)
 
Queen Novo’s Magic Pearl: Mind Orange (As it alters, and changes the physical form of others into differing creatures with a thought, it’s possible this jewel holds psychic power to alter matter, itself. Which is why Sombra stole a shard of it, and welded it to his amulet)
 
Discord’s Chaos Magic: Reality Yellow (Not much to say: as a Spirit of Chaos, Discord manipulates reality itself to his whim. All Sombra requires is the right spell to rip the magic out of him, and then compress it into the form of a simple gemstone.)
 
Starswirl’s Temporal Scroll: Time Green (A piece of parchment with the power to traverse time itself. And after finally drawing it out of the timestream, Sombra’s spell managed to compress its magical essence into a jeweled form to utilize its temporal power freely)
 
The Magic Mirror: Space Indigo (An artifact that breaches the boundaries of Space to travel to other dimensions. Midnight Sparkle actually wielded this power, and was able to tear open portals to Equestria. Compressing that magic into one of the mirror’s gems now gives Sombra power to control Space, itself, now.)
 
 
With the Alicorn Amulet enhancing the magical powers of the other Singularities, their own limits are exceeded. And thus gives King Sombra unlimited control over the six major aspects of existence - in doing so, making him an actual God. Is there anyone who could stop him? That’s a good question among many others out there.
