Do people seriously not get that this is pro wrestling, and that Sunset is only tweaking Twilight’s neck, not breaking it, or more accurately pretending to tweak her neck?
This is one of those cases that is a bit ambiguous under the guidelines; technically, I’d class it as “dying” with a bit of time leniency (same as a head having come off but possibly still being alive for moments), but also, it’s not particularly violent or painful.
Checking other images under “neck snap” shows a pretty even split. I think the reasonable approach is to consider it semi since it’s what things tend to go for when they want to be tame about death, to the point that some of the Metal Gear Solid Future Twilight examples were at times rated Safe.
@Exhumed Legume
No, she killed Twilight, but the picture doesn’t portray the moment of the murder. The art piece is taken after the deed, which means that the Twilight on it IS. A. CORPSE.
This isn’t just a corpse after the fact, this is very obviously the violent act in progress.
If this was the case, I would make that obvious (by including “written sound effects”). It’s a picture after the fact, which I why I purpousfully left that part out.
People being shit at ratings doesn’t prove you right.
I think I know much better what my art was supposed to portray and what’s the story behind it. By Derpibooru definision, it’s correct. If you think otherwise, go bother those who tag stuff that would classifie as gore and tag it with “Semi-Grimdark”.
Altough, in the case of tagging, I’d say that voice of the people means much more than dictionary definicion.
@Exhumed Legume
It doesn’t fit Derpibooru’s definition of the “grimdark” to be tagged as such. As I pointed it out, non-cartoonish corpses do NOT count as Grimdark. Here, you have a none-cartoonish corpse with a sign of fatal injury. It’s NOT grimdark
Just look through art under the “Semi-Grimdark” tag, and you’ll find much more extream stuff than this.
@Exhumed Legume
Uh, yea? It’s one of the quickest and least painfull ways of death.
A “violent death” is one that is ethier very painfull or very messy (or both).
By your “definition” all kinds of death would be counted as “violent”
Besides, it’s a corpse.
This picture fits the definition of “Semi Grimdark”:
→Minor horror, including: → →Non-cartoonish corpses (no x eyes etc.) with signs of fatal wounds (like blood pooling or a knife sticking out)
→ →Severed body parts
→ →Fresh amputation
→ →Severe open wounds
→Dying violently/painfully in a comedic/cartoonish manner (x eyes etc.)
@Princess Luna
Eh, yeah. You’re probably right.
Edited
I’m pretty sure the artist intends it to be death, and it’s clearly an extreme angle that would probably be fatal.

Glad you enjoy it :P
Thanks,
I’ll surely do more soon. ^^
I’m glad we could provide entertainment at least this way :P
Thank you ^^
I will surely make some follow ups to this. Maybe more ring fighting? Maybe other types of snuff? Who knows. ^^
You should totally do more EQG stuff like this.

Yes, I’m sure she picked the corpse off the floor and did the neckbreaking pose just for shits and giggles.

Technically both do. One by herself, other in a body bag :P
