That is a good point. All the same, I think we’ve discussed Cozy long enough, so let’s put it to bed for now. Back to Kim, you mentioned how her mood reflects how hot\ cold she makes everything around her. What about,say, overt joy, excitement, or other emotions? Yeah, cold day in Tartarus if we ever see her smile, but a man can dream. What about Zophiel? Do things around her change with her mood?

Heh, thanks :P I will admit though, I understand why they didn’t reform her from the perspective of the folks who made the show: they already had two barely-reformed sociopathic buttholes hanging around with the Mane Six so the last thing they would have wanted was a third one XD

I really wanted to see the show make fun of it in some way. Like, have Twilight be like “It didn’t feel right, but you can’t just try to destroy the world for petty reasons and NOT suffer the consequences!” Then just as she says this Starlight comes in like “Hi guys what are we talking about?” so Twilight looks away and Discord teleports right into her field of view and is like “Sorry, wrong dimension!” so Twilight walks over to the window to look away from both of them and the half-rebuilt Weather Factory is visible and she just yells “ALRIGHT FINE MAYBE WE’LL GIVE HER A CHANCE ONE OF THESE DAYS!!!” XD

I agree she should have been stopped and she should have been punished. I just like to point out the false dichotomy: there’s more solutions than either the Starlight Glimmer instant forgiveness special or no mercy being sent to Hell with literal monsters to be forgotten about for an indefinite period of time. Hell, they can put a spell on Discord that prevents him from stealing the Elements of Harmony that DISCORD can’t break, but they can’t put a spell on her that prevents her from using magical artifacts? Or put her in a regular prison where she’d receive basic humane treatment? Does she not even get a trial? Like, they didn’t even know she was gone from Tartarus the entirety of Season 9 which must have been, at least, a few weeks, so did they not even periodically check on her? Not to mention, it feels weirdly predatory that they treated the powerless kid worse than every other villain: hell, they let Chrysalis just leave and she was still an active threat and that was after her SECOND major attack and a lifetime of enslaving an entire race, and she was less sympathetic :P

Like I said, we don’t know yet, but it’s possible was simply built over, though I personally would like to think that she was simply forgotten over time, not arrested and smeared or killed, simply because, though we can disagree over Cozy’s fate, I think we can agree that Twilight and the Princesses were good, respectable folk who had the best interests of their fellows at heart. That, and the fact I don’t like the idea of the Mane 6 being grievously harmed or killed.

But wasn’t the window in the castle dungeon? That could possibly mean she was forgotten about between G4 and G5 or perhaps because she was overthrown and arrested à la France or the Soviet Union. Though another possibility could be that she was simply assassinated or dead before she could find a successor or have any of her own.

Good question, but I doubt it was a violent overthrow. Given that g5 has a window with Two light’s cutie mark, it can be assumed Twilight as reign was long and prosperous before whatever calamity caused ponies to split into what it is now. As it stands we don’t have answers yet, so we can only guess what happened.

My question is how the general populace felt about this. Perhaps this could have contributed to the overthrow of G4’s monarchy and made the princesses look like worse people.

Maybe G5 is an alternate ending to G4 if the people of Equestria overthrew the princesses before the finale happened because they were, in the people’s minds, insecure enough about maintaining power that they would be willing to kill people to maintain it.

A life sentence in a regular prison would probably be the worst case scenario for me, though it could depend on whether her mind had matured enough to make rational decisions like that. If the answer is no in the latter case, maybe a trip to juvie or the looney bin would be what she deserves.

Really? While I agree that children in general shouldn’t be sent to Hell, not only has cozy Glow shown herself to be dangerous, but unrepentant, given she and the Legion of Doom were planning to pretty much kill the Mane 6, even attempting to do so in the finale. Child or not, even though I don’t like the thought, Cozy Glow. Is. DANGEROUS. A threat to be contained.
