when you install the .bnp file in BCML, there’s a list of info, such as which character has replaced which armor set along with other important stuff. i hope you enjoy the mod!
@Background Pony #8BCC
what you’re asking is if there could be one base character with different outfits instead of each armor set being a different character, right? probably not; that would take way more work and this is an extremely low effort mod
Will you ever change how it functions? As in make a pony be link and the armor sets models for them like how the linkle/Zelda’s ballad mods work? Or is it too much of a hassle at this point. Cool mod regardless

my bad, we’ll just chalk it up to my incompetence then. i’d rather not make the armors standalone but I’ll see if i can find a different fix for future versions
I just got the outfit, it’s the default settings, and I just double checked the dye shop in Hatano and none of the new colors fixed the issue when previewing them. This is a new game save entirely. The colors are slightly changed on the icons because I’m using reshade, but reshade doesn’t alter game textures, that being said I can’t think of any other reason why it wouldn’t be working.

it looks like your armor is dyed; I only changed the albedo textures on the default ones and left all the dye variants alone. there’s a note in the mod download description about dyes appearing glitchy because of this. I’ll probably get around to adding dye variants eventually in a future version but that’s quite a ways out
fun fact though, in my testing the hylian and stealth sets specifically show the wrong texture sometimes, even if my dye is the default variant. this doesn’t happen with any other undyed set and frankly I don’t know why
There are some serious texture issues I’m facing, the body textures wont load for any outfit but anon mare. I am using Cemu and I have no texture mods installed aside from the pony mod and invisible Shieka slate mod.
I must recommend using this https://gamebanana.com/tools/6877 to make the individual sets standalone. Ive never experienced texture issues with standalone armor sets.

i know these are old comments but i thought you’d appreciate an update
