I rewatched the trailer. Many times. I don’t see any particular downgrade in quality. I was stunned by how not shit the trailer looked honestly. I’m expecting the film to be either be surprisingly good or enjoyably awful.
 
I’ve pretty much comes to terms with the fact that the shows days of genuine quality MIGHT be over. (though I liked the vast majority of season 3) Now I just want the episodes to be entertaining.

That makes sense. They couldn’t animate humans that looked as good as the ponies without giving it a real budget, so they made the ponies look cheaper instead.
 
Seriously though folks, go back and re-watch this scene– it looks like an OK quality fan animation at best. None of the love or care of FiM seems to be going into this project.

The pony animation isn’t the point of the trailer. Hasbro doesn’t want the ponies looking better-animated than the humans.

Anyone else feel like the pony animation in this trailer is lower quality than the show?
