To be fair, if I bought the PS4… and when it came out of the box it ended up being a Tiny Princess Luna, I’d say that my purchase was rather solid and I wouldn’t regret it in the slightest.
 
Now if only another console could be Celestia, because then CONTROL OF THE COSMOS WOULD FINALLY BE MINE!

There’s also the fact that the PC tends to have ports of a significant percentage of the console games (ESPECIALLY xbuks) which you can frequently play with a controller OR mouse and keyboard, whichever is easier, and depending on how good your rig is and whether or not they completely fucked up the port, at higher quality. And many of them end up on Steam, which like right now tends to throw huge blow-the-competition-the-fuck-out sales on their shit.

I’m gonna sound like the biggest bitch ever, especially after how long this image has been with us now, but there are games unique to each system that I’m really interested in.
 
With the exception of PC, which I won’t ever even feel the need to defend. It does all of my other stuffs, y’know?

Well, your typical car has about a dozen specialised computers in it (maybe more). Most are probably programmed in assembler, but a few might do sophisticated-enough tasks that the overhead of a Java virtual machine is justified by the fact that doing it in assembler would result in something incomprehensible and impossible to maintain. Then there’s the less mission-critical systems, such as GPS and anything with a menu on screen. Those probably run some flavour of Linux and use Java for their user-facing software.
