Another Arcs ponification, this one of Azrael from BlazBlue. I mostly got interested in doing this because I went off on LB about BlazBlue’s frankly insane lore and incest, as well as the characters largely being deviations from Guilty Gear characters. She asked if Raven had one, and that’s kinda Azrael but also not really, it’s complicated imo, but the main point is that Hiroki Yasumoto bless his heart had to voice two weird characters for Arcs and then return to voicing animals.

Azrael’s design in BB features what can be best describe as white slacks with half of a pair of zip-up assless chaps over one leg and power sealing tattoos over his body - guess which one was more of a pain to do accurately! His design is full of asymmetry, for reasons beyond me because Blazblue is sprite based. But he looks fantastic so, ehh. Maybe if I draw more of him I’ll draw him in those ridiculous outfits they keep putting him in.

Personal life tidbits;
I spent all Saturday (5/11/2024) cleaning Ponies thanks to help from the RetroGeek discord, I’m so thankful for their help. But beyond an interesting hue for Love Melody and an extremely filthy Strawberry Fields, there isn’t anything good to post on it right now.
