I know it’s a little late to say it, especially how far behind us the “Pinkie Pride” episode is by now, but still.
 
Weird Al. I grew up with your parodies and your music and it always brought a smile to my face. When I fell in love with this show, I figured you might make a playful parody song to poke fun at the fans. Pretty innocent, nothing mean.
 
But I never thought you might voice a character and sing, in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, for us all.
 
It was special. I loved the episode and no argument conceivable could persuade me otherwise. I’m just so glad that you were there to make me smile again, right where I didn’t expect you.
 
And I’m glad that you and Pinkie Pie finally managed to get along. The party is always better when there’s more friends to party with.
 
Stay pony, everyone. Tonight, I’m a very happy sort.

I guess what he means is that the ponies who were way too far from Canterlot, Ponyville, and Appleoosa were safe from him. I guess for some odd reason the Crystal Empire, Manehatten, and Saddle Arabia were out of his reach. The entire population of Ponyville, Canterlot, Cloudsdale, and Appleoosa is all he needed to gather up his strength.

So you’re saying that this guy was just barely a threat outside of the tri-state area.  
I’m not making the referance, but at this point you should all know what I would refer too.

Depends how far away he was. Tirek seemed to be confined the Tri-county area (Everfree, Ponyville, and Canterlot) with the rare visit to Appaloosa and maybe a couple of Pegasus settlements.

You have to wonder, was he even aware of this at all? Like he didn’t know some demi-god was sucking away all the magic?
