It’s not Tirek who sends them to the Castle of the Two Sisters in my fan fiction. It’s me, with the use of the Keyblade, after I ambush and destroy Tirek’s portal to Tartarus, then blind and deafen him with a flash grenade, giving me time to get the Princesses out of there.
 
As you can see, I mixed a little Kingdom Hearts and Call of Duty into my fan fiction.

I’m pretty sure as long as we don’t like him more than the protagonists, they don’t really care what we think of him.

I know that now, but I appreciate the concern.
 
Besides, I’ve recently been working on a fan fiction version of the finale from my point of view. The one big difference: Tirek never sends the Princesses to Tartarus. They are teleported instead to the Castle of the Two Sisters and are hidden in Celestia’s old private reading room in the castle library, where Twilight found Celestia and Luna’s old journal.
 
They stay there until after Tirek’s defeat and the return of all the magic, then rejoin Twilight and her friends to welcome Twilight to her new castle.

Well, considering that the Mane Six defeated him with Rainbow Power AND freed the princesses…I don’t think you need to worry anymore.

(sheepish chuckle) You could say that. I really enjoyed the finale, but felt Tirek’s choice of having the Princesses suffer like he did was a little too cruel.

Ponies yes, but no Tirek. I’ll rip him to shreds as if that is what is done to him by Cerberus in revenge for imprisoning the Princesses in Tartarus.

The animation in this whole song was just top-notch.

Indeed. The one in the BBBFF song had some funky snaps from one model to another, but this is beautiful. Great reference image for plushie making, actually :) I love it when animated characters have a clearly defined 3D shape, instead of only looking right from one angle.

It’s kinda making me dizzy as well…

There’s still a few janky parts to this, but it’s about as fluid as you’re likely going to get without straight-up rotoscoping.

Okay, that’s enough, I feel sick!

They do the 3D camera rotations better by every passing season.
