I may be missing something with the adagio/racial/notsurewhat is being discussed (I couldn’t see anything in the comments to tie it into the picture itself or anything in the story).

Yeah, that seems odd to me, Adagio looking out for anyone but herself (and maybe Aria and Sonata if she thinks they’re still useful). And then… She’s challenging Sunset to do the same good thing? Because it will help Adagio somehow if she does? (Like I said, second sentence is where it really gets baffling.)

Possible. Adagio seems like she was more adept at, and quite enjoyed, using her powers to “persuade” others give her what she desires more than the other two.
 
Adagio would also be on unfamiliar ground with Sunset in any sort of verbal joust, as Sunset is quite a wordsmith in her own right. Though Sunset would use barbs of truth if/when arguing with Adagio, as opposed to Adagio’s insults and other negative remarks. This would anger and kind of scare her.
 
Actually, now that you mention about Adagio getting physical, if you look at Adagio’s left hand just hanging there, you could interpret this scene as Adagio’s anger coming to a tipping point and Sunset’s other eye is bruised from Adagio finally taking a swing at her(Sunset is a big girl and has probably felt such actions from some of the less than honorable students from CHS post fall formal incident. She can take it), surprising the other Dazzlings who are not use to that side of Adagio.

Nice, but I really can’t see Aria accepting help unless she thinks she forced someone to give it to her. I dunno, she just seems to have that “Screw you, world” attitude to her where she doesn’t like anyone.
