I liked it, the TV show, at least.
What I meant was that I don’t think the pictures chosen for Amy do a particularly good job of showing the differences.
Their outfits are different. They gave the “Sonic Boom” version of the characters different/new outfits to differentiate them, the show (and it’s game tie-ins) from the main game canon.
So in a way S.B. Amy is an A.U. version of normal Amy, much like the EqG Pinkie.
Patrick’s “superhero” form here though, is just a temporary/comical super form.
They managed to make it look great.
