Nope I’m 43, but I’ve always been into animation. Plus I’m old enough to get the Benny Hill reference in what was it? The Third (Or the First real World, after Friendship is Magic). Thats what made me a Brony.

That’s not that hard to do to be honest…
It’s a reference to WWI. Carrier pigeons brought all sorts of war info. Requests for reinforcements, reports on progress, observations on the enemy’s numbers and movements, etc.. Yankee Doodle Pigeon was probably carrying a different classified document every episode.
