I guess that works in the context of the Mane 6…
Orange can act while ‘tapped’ and also has the most raw power.
Purple has power generation.
Blue is speed.
Yellow is minions. Swarm.
Pink is character removal/control.
White is resource management and winning without fighting.

I’d like to know, what’s each color’s gimmick? In Magic: The Gathering, White defends, Blue enchants and disenchants, Black destroys, Red attacks, and Green creates…
I know, but one of the best cards for quickly buffing Maud is Defenders of Equestria, and you play this on DoE, you’ve got 2 7 power characters, one of which will just keep growing. it’s pretty insane, after a few turns.
Granted, White and to an extent Purple can depower it, but still.
“Play on a FRIEND”
Maud is a Mane.
