I think I’ve read that one (Iirc, it starts with an archaeological dig at Dream Castle and repeated mysterious meetings with Wind Whistler, right?), it was really good. :)

I’ve also read one or two the other way around, where Dream Valley is an ancient pre-Equestrian “nation” of sorts. I’m not sure which way of organising the timeline is better, but they’re both pretty good imho. :)
