Do you use the dark version of the site?

Hell yeah. Much easier on the eyes than that glaring white so many site designers are obsessed with.

Yo. It’s easier to look at than the regular theme.

I use it. The darker tones are much more soothing to my sensitive, beautiful eyes.

You can make ‘em yourself if you know how to use the Inspect Element property in Firefox (Other browsers have an equivalent too, just not sure what it’s called). Google it; you’ll find instructions. It just takes a bit of time.

I use the dark theme because it’s easier on my eyes, but it’s not without issue — the palette is not well-developed, and some text is much harder to follow than with the default theme.
When I mess with the site’s styling, I have to test both themes anyways.
People STILL DON’T KNOW how to use relative links, so I get shunted to derpiboo.ru frequently where I am signed in on my alt account, which uses the light theme.
Finally, I generally agree that black on white is overrated, but the current dark theme could use a lot of improvement with regard to many palette choices; most text coloration is decent. The background color is okay; the even-odd row colors are essentially indistinguishable on dark, however.
I’m too tired to think of anything else at the moment but I have plenty more qualms with the dark theme.

U mad?
I used to use the light one, but I decided to try the dark, and I like it. It’s a lot easier on the eyes.

Is it possible to set the dark theme as the site default? Or does it make the site look to intimidating for newcomers?

@SeraphimDawn
It’s not necessarily that it’s intimidating, but a lot of people just plain don’t like it.
