Sweet F.A.

Especially since Richard Williams, the film’s director (until he was booted off), wanted it to be a visual experience.
At least
The Recobbled Cut is slowly becoming a cult classic.
But hell, the trend that
Aladdin started, where characters spouted obnoxious pop culture references in anachronistic settings? That would continue even outside of those two films, like with the dragons from
Quest for Camelot, Mushu from
Mulan, the rapping dog from
Titanic: The Legend Goes On, and just about every character in
Shrek. It’s even continuing to this day; as much as I enjoy
The Dragon Prince, the pop culture references throw me off every time.
