It’s because people waited for it for like 16 years , and a lot of people wanted GnR to keep their old style while adapting to modern times instead of trying to chase trends

It’s more 90’s really cause the year 2000 still had the sounds of the 90’s and the decade wouldn’t get its signature sound until 2002-2003

Marvel currently may have better movies for the most part after the Acquisition to Disney, but their cartoons were far better before Isaac Pearlmutter signed the deal with Bob Iger to buy the company. 1990s X-men, 1967 Fantastic 4, and 1994 Iron Man>>>Ultimate Spiderman and Disney Avengers Cartoon.

The Fantastic Four 2000’s cartoon was lit, Although that was before Disney bought Marvel completely

Don’t forgot the Earlier 2000’s Marvel cartoons X-Men Evaluation Spectacular Spider Wolverine and the X-Man Iron-Man Armored Adventures Fantastic 4 Earth’s Greatest Heroes and Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (the best Marvel cartoon IMO)
 
 
Ultimates had it’s moments especially in some episodes of the later seasons but as far as spiderman cartoons go it’s definitely one of the weakest _{(no were near Marvel’s Spiderman cringe levels tho)}
 
Avengers Assemble was ok at first _{ironically alot of favorite episodes in that show are Hawkeye episodes} I started falling out of line with it when they changed the VA’s and the animation got really cheap.

Marvel’s cartoons have been ass since Disney bought them unfortunately, save for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes which was awesome but unfortunately got axed just after season 2 :/
 
I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion though, most people seem to agree with that

Heck we didn’t just have Marvel cartoons we had Marvel animated movies too: Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2 Planet Hulk Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow The Invincible Iron Man Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme Hulk Vs wolverine and Hulk Vs Thor Planet Hulk and Thor: Tales of Asgard
 
Sadly Marvel doesn’t do this anymore and when they do those movies are set in there crap Disney Marvel universe

Personal tastes, I guess. Same reason why tone deaf people can get obsessed with music or how lonely people can get addicted to porn.  
Personally I’m a soccer fan, and I actually play some matches with some friends whenever we can get the chance to rent a mini court for an hour.

It’s pretty interesting how Similar Axl with Serj in their boredom with their Genre and a long hiatus due to internal stuff
 
Axl got bored of Glam and wanted To do Edgier stuff and Serj got bored of Metal and wanted to do some weird Funk punk Jazz stuff.
 
Only difference is that Serj is doing it solo while Axl released his stuff under the name of GnR despite not including the likes of Slash which pissed off his fans despite Slash actually liking Chinese Democracy

He’s not bad, but a lot of his films and TV shows tend to be kind of confusing sometimes (Exhibit A: LOST). Though he did tone down the lens flares eventually (he even poked fun at that a couple times).
