Am I the only Guy Who Gets Annoyed when there's a pony porn art every fucking 3 Day Top Scoring?

I’ll admit, I love to look at clopper porn and do my own damn buisness, but there’s more art than just that. :\ Cute art, Humour Art, or evenly fanfic art to an extent….

Try to do something better if it annoys you.

It kinda annoys me too. Even with safe tags only showing, suggestive stuff still gets through for top scoring. I like to put my porn in another category all together when it comes to ponies, dont like seeing it all the time. Can’t be arsed to filter it because the content doesnt bother me, but still, even if i did, stuff gets through as I said.

You people deserves to suffer if you don’t know how to use tags.

Have none of you seen this site with 100% of the filters turned off. its fucking disgusting. there’s pictures of farts and ponies shitting on each other uploaded every other day.
 
I have personally gone through on many occasions just over 100 of the most recent pages.
 
Every time the amount of pages, PAGES. that had NO porn. was at the most 17 and it averaged out that only 5 pages out of 100 at any given time do not contain porn. THAT’S WITH FILTERS TO STOP THE SHITTING AND FARTING AND POOP AND DIAPER POSTS.

I think what OP was trying to say flew over everyone’s heads. He doesn’t mind seeing the content in general, so no need to use a filter. However, I think he’s just irked on how the pornographic material is almost always the 3 day top scoring. Maybe he’s sad the fact that smut is getting more attention than general art work, which I think is a valid complaint, not to say smut is an invalid art form, it is not, but a highest rated system should cater to general and SFW art works. Make a separate top scoring for explicit stuff, yeah?
 
Even then, miss tagged pictures end up having safe tags despite being very sexual in nature. But that’s another problem entirely.

I used to get annoyed at it, but then I hid the explicit tag and the problem went away.

Filters. Use them.

I think that not a bad idea at all. A seperate top scoring for SFW and NSFW.

Er, I think that’s an awful idea actually. You realize that’ll just mean that instead of the OP seeing a top rated Explicit every other day, it’ll make everyone on the site (those who know to filter Explicit, too) see a top rated Explicit EVERY day, right?
 
I agree with the rude guys that this is OP’s own private problem.  
he admits that he likes to look at clop (while all the other users who do not already only see the non-explicit top scores), he’s just mildly distressed over the tought that explicit pics have higher scores. Well…hooray? We could run a survey about the number of cloppers in the fandom, but how is any of that the board’s fault? Should we take away the upvote option on Explicit pics or what?
 
By the way, this was exactly the big complaint of the mods about half a year ago - oh no, the bad bad users are downvoting Explicit pics instead of filtering them. So now downvoting Explicit is a lot more complicated and thus those pics have a higher rating. If it gives any relief for OP to blame it on that, then he can do that.

It somewhat bothers me, As I feel alot of non-porn works get jipped out of the spotlight because of it.
 
But it’s a minor nuisance at best to me.

As someone who only uses meme filters, it’s really not a big deal. At all. In any way.

I am a clop artist and I think it’s stupid too, and the thing isn’t even limited to derpibooru too, but everywhere else too.
 
However, sex appeal has a very particular thing that if some guy has a 10% chance higher of clicking that upvote button than an equally well-done piece that isn’t about sexualizaton… that’s how it is.

Bothers me too, but that’s the reality I guess. I use the site mostly for the porn though so it doesn’t irk me so much. But when I do come across some really good A+ SFW artwork, it is saddening that porn gets more attention.
 
But like I said, that’s the reality. If it bothers you enough then you ought to just have a filter to hide it.

I would have to agree. I enjoy the porn as much as the next person but the 3 Day thing is just a spot to see today’s best porn.  
For those who want to see everything with no filters and have a diverse selection of things to see on the front page the 3 day top scoring thing is pointless and needs to have more than just “this is what scored high”.  
Lots of stuff gets overshadowed because of how simple the front page is.
 
Personally if I had it my way the front page would have lots of stuff down the sidebar with little x’s to click if people did not want to see a certain type of thing the section would be for and that section would not appear unless they wanted it back with little boxes to tick at the bottom.  
E.G.  
A section for pony (duh)  
A section for humanized  
A section for shipping  
A section for anthro  
A section for OC  
^ those would be the preset  
and more behind the “more lists” option  
wink wink nudge nudge porn options totally not hidden here (unless you choose to change that)  
also “more lists” would have a more detailed title e.g “available lists not suiting your needs? Choose other lists to add here” It would be pretty much Tag/vote based lists.  
However I am no coder and that sounds like a huge task for a coder to do. It is very unlikely to happen as it would really eat into the time of the moderator who would have to code that and more reasons.
 
I say this because I think everything should have a fair chance to be its own thing, to have recognition for it and the artists too.  
Which I think the sidebar does not provide outside of featured image which is also limited on what can get there

It could hide behind the more lists option and those who are fine with seeing and want to see it could have the option to have it be seen whenever they sign in.

I understand how OP feels but that’s what the tags are for. It’s the only thing you can do, really.
