When a image is merged, it is deleted, and its score and comments are transferred to the original.

can get put back?

It seems like the image was a intended update of some other image.
 
However, we usually merge images of lower quality to those of higher quality.
 
The update you posted was less than half the original’s size, so it was merged to the larger.

it’s there. it’s under your uploads.  

 
the “marked duplicate” one won’t appear under yours but the larger version is right there and circled.

yes. you uploaded the same pic twice, so we kept the larger one and merged the smaller into it.

You just need to upload the image again, make sure to upload it in a resolution that equals the original, and we can merge to the updated version.

opps. I forget had the artist give two differ size.
