I wouldn’t say that I’m sick of seeing these things but there are things that do bother me.
 
I’m actually not the biggest fan of hate art. Primarily with Flash Sentry but it can refer to other characters as well. I don’t mean like a character getting kicked in the privates, wrestling or something that can be deemed as comical. I’m talking about pictures of characters getting shot through of bullets (There was a picture of Flash getting his dick shot off by Sunset) and other characters dying in some other gruesome way. Fanart with the fic “Cupcakes” I don’t count since I think it’s more of a “What if” scenario rather than hate art. It’s not that I don’t like blood and gore, but unless you have a good reason behind it story-wise, I find it rather pointless and in some instances, pretty terrible.
 
Something else I don’t like is pictures with characters simultaneously vomiting and having diarrhea (I actually saw two pictures of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash with it and I noped away as far as possible). Honestly, I’m alright with scat to an extent. People would argue that it’s gross and while I do agree, I could at least say from a medical perspective, a character that’s simply pooping and the poop looks normal is in good health. When someone has diarrhea, it’s a sign of inflammation which means that a character isn’t feeling well. I don’t want to see characters I like really sick like that. Even worse is when you tack on the vomiting. Pictures with vomiting alone really depends on the pic itself though I’m not the biggest fan of it. I’m actually afraid of vomiting and having diarrhea myself so this is why I don’t like them.
 
Not a huge fan of diapers myself (especially on humans) since most of the time characters who are drawn in diapers are way too old for them. I find it very maladaptive as we are supposed to grow away from diapers when we enter our toddler years. There are exceptions like with people with neurological problems but that’s completely different and honestly shouldn’t be put into fan works. It’s acceptable with baby characters or with characters aged down to be babies as it can be adorable but diapers on older characters, no. If you’re into it (either in fan works or even in real life), it’s fine but I’m not fond of it myself.
 
The last thing is going to sound a bit controversial but is something that makes me want to facepalm. Seeing characters smoking or drinking when they normally don’t. This doesn’t just apply to just MLP, it applies to every fandom. Since a young age I was brought up with the notion that drugs and alcohol don’t make a person look cool or sexy or anything like that. Nowadays, I don’t think like that in real life (I drink occasionally but I do it for the taste and to relax, not to look cool) but I do have that mindset with fictional characters. The characters are well designed with charming personalities, I just don’t understand why a person thinks that having them smoke or drink makes them look attractive. Now I do make drug jokes about Sandalwood smoking but just because I joke about it doesn’t mean I agree with it. And as for the characters drinking cider, eh… if I were to draw characters drinking regular apple cider, I’d draw them drinking from cups that don’t look like beer mugs. This one’s honestly just me though. (Side note if this paragraph needs to be filtered, let me know since I’m unsure about this one)

Never seen a single one of those (in Derpi. Of course I have seen my fair share of weird stuff) and don’t wanna

The being eaten and still alive in their stomachs thing is kinda weird for more.

While some stuff mildly annoys me, in the long run I’m desensitized and have evolved a strong enough stomach to be kinda indifferent and not need to really filter things. Some seemingly gross things are even amusing in certain amusement categories depending on how one’s mind works.
 
It may be a broken record but, “those filters though” in regard to seeing stuff you don’t like…

And in the general majority cases, filtering sorta has an effect of people not seeing those things they are sick of seeing as is the namesake title of this thread.
 
I’m not trying to be condescending, but ponderous why people could be, in real time, still sick of seeing anything when it seems quite possible to not have to see said things. I understand being sick of seeing a thing in the past tense and I know it’s probably not a perfect system and vulnerable to inadequate tagging in the short term, but still. Hopefully that makes sense.

Those things only appeal to me if they’re like, a lower price than their regular commissions. Other than just wanting to support the artist who made it, I don’t see the appeal in paying hundreds of dollars for a drawing with a predetermined pose. I’d be more fine with a YCH flat rate instead of an auction.
 
Also, I hate the fact that some artists decided to stop doing regular commissions all together in favor of YCH auctions.
