Yes, filtering all kind of ‘shit’/unwanted content is more common than you may think, in order to keep every thing nice and clean for every one.

If fanart related gore, that happens sometimes. It has been happening a lot more recently because well… it’s spook month. If IRL gore, definitely. We had that problem pretty bad a few months ago with someone posting IRL for under safe.

A lot of linux developers are threatening to yank their code contributions due to the new code of conduct (and can do so because they own the copyright to their contributions). I’m hearing this may lead to numerous websites being vulnerable to attacks.

We’ll see what happens, but based on following LKML, there is maybe one person that wants to do this. So I don’t think it’ll happen.
