On the topic of Bowser, has anyone else beat Bowser’s official level? There’s some really interesting stuff in there. Loved the part with the POW blocks, I need to “borrow” that idea sometime.

But I did star it.

Forget checkpoints, mushroom/fire flowers, event levels and Arino costume. The true highlight of the update is knocking on doors.
 
Also, trying out the new stuff a bit, I made a new level. It’s just a rather quick thing and I haven’t done a new level since quite a while, so don’t expect too much.

I was just making a level, when I got an idea for another level, that could be pretty quickly made. Indeed, it was finished pretty fast. “Fast” is a word that fits it pretty well, since it mostly involves jumping on different platforms in the sky in such a manner. It’s hectic, but shouldn’t be too bad (otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to upload it).

After watching a SMB3 LP, I made an airship level inspired by it, that involves mostly jumping between several small ships (airboats?). Uses the SMB mode, though.

If you mean whether it’s an autoscroller, then yes. Mostly. The last section (accessed by a pipe) isn’t.
 
Shouldn’t be too bad, as it’s a slow one, though.

I know I’m late to say this but I can’t believe that Game Center CX has an official tie-in with Super Mario Maker with the Arino Mystery Mushroom. That shit is hilarious.
 
Did anyone also check the Mario Maker episode of DidYouKnowGaming? There was a bunch of other Mystery Mushroom costumes that were sadly scrapped.

I’m actually quite surprised Nintendo added Super Mario-kun in Mario Mario. I’m still hoping one day the comic series will get a world wide release. Very unlikely, but a man can dream…
