Part of my Traptrix deck is basically this, followed by using Evilswarm Ouroboros to return Kumongous to my hand, possibly attacking for game right after.

Can we appreciate how Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu looks like it will murder you if your opponent summons it?

I hope they will later on do one for the Tag Force games and World Championship games.

You know, by sheer irony I was recently thinking of what-if Konami ports the old games so the fans can taste what the card game was back then in those past formats.

A friend of mine told me that he couldn’t really figure out one of the World Championship games and the Tag Force games also have minigames and “dating sim” elements thrown in. XD The earlier Yu-Gi-Oh! games, like the ones being ported here, were made at a time when it was not standard for the games to “just be simulators of the card game”.

Forbidden Memories and Duelists of the Roses are definitely not just simulators of the card game, but there were also old games that were mostly just simulators of the old format, like The Eternal Duelist Soul. Heck, I actually played the Power of Chaos trilogy on the computer as a kid back when the games were new, even once saw a video showing footage of Kaiba the Revenge as an example of how the old school format was much slower.

Why on earth Master Duel and Duel Link players have a tendency to ragequit so often?

I’m guessing that people just want the victory rewards and nothing else.

You get rewards regardless if you win or lose which you can use to upgrade your decks and you literally wouldn’t die in the process.
I have a hard time sympathizing with that logic since ragequitting deprives you of any reward whatsoever.

Could also be that they don’t want to rank out and see a DC as the better alternative.

Seems weird, I dunno. You’d need to have an exceptionally huge loose streak for that.
Then again I don’t know how competitive players work around that.

So I’ll take is a competitive issue rather than casual play.

You forget that you need a consistent win-streak to rank up as well, making losing look even worst.

Though the ranks often reset in each season.

But again that kind of depends on the ranking perspective, so again ragequitting feels more subjective ultimately at least to me, which is better than flat out being an unhelpful action.

All I know is that I need to get more people into Duel Links for those free gems.
