that’s just the physical changes, not shown are the psychological and emotional damage.
 
to be clear characters like waspinator and kenny who get magically fixed up in the next episode doesn’t count. i’m looking for characters who get progressively worse and worse (physically, mentally, emotionally) as the show goes on.

Buttercup’s new voice is really starting to bug me. I don’t recall her ever saying “Dude” or calling Bubbles “Bubs” in the original.

since the series is loosely considered a continuation of the original, it’s just her being older.

a recurring character from clarence. almost every time he appears he suffers through an grave injury that he went from perfectly fine to seriously handicapped.
 
the only bright spot he had was at least he had friends who celebrated his birthday (after the episode implies he was going to get pranked, turns out it was a suprise party).
 
there are butt monkey characters but almost no one suffers actual trauma that affects their next appearance.

So what’s the general consensus on Voltron: Legendary Defender?
