Okay I just watched the trailer to the sequel to Megamind and it looks bad. And apparently it’s going to take place before the TV series so you know no Will Ferell as the Blue dude in this movie either.

It must been weird for the writers of Kids Next Door to have the kids fight against adulthood, when they were adults themselves. It’s like making characters made to own you.

Not at all, we all remember the petty grievances we had as kids that seemed like the end of the world. For the show you just play it up as Serious Business.

Being an adult, you have proper context so you don’t feel too bad about your “villainy”.

Yeah it does the problem with it is Peacock. Do not trust Peacock after their failed attempts at Football games earlier this year.

So if “Chicken Run” is like a kid version of the Holocaust with chickens…what makes “Dawn of the Nugget” reminiscent of then?

Maybe because it goes for a younger demographic than the typical TMNT they made an assumption?

The show was made for the same demographic as the previous TMNT show.

I would just chalk it up to poor oversight.

The TV-Y7 rating and large amount of nightmare fuel doesn’t seem like it’d be appropriate for the toddlers, IMO.

Y7 was such a vague rating it could mean anything from mild comedy like Spongebob to edgy intensity like The Last Airbender.
