How about I play as a blind circle of the moon druid? That way I don’t have to ague with the DM if I saw anything before.

That’s kinda like how I wanna play as a handicapped armorer artificer. Have his armor turn his wheelchair wheels into tank treads. Either that, or let his armor give him the ability to walk.

I find it funny that Sending (magic cellphones basically) were in D&D since 2e, but weren’t used that much until recently with 5e, which is after we got used to using iphones regularly.

Sounds about right. Definitely missed out on starting early as a kid.

Funny enough the place I go to for therapy also has a group for patients.

That sounds nice. Makes me wonder if they play characters that serve as avatars of themselves and the issues they’re working through.

It’s possible, though I wouldn’t know myself.

The best thing about the movie is the fact that, even though I never played the games, I still managed to follow the story pretty well. In fact, when Sofina started to unleash her curse to turn the entire audience into the undead, and the heroes used the portal spell to release all of Forge’s ill-gotten riches into the city to lure the audience away from the curse, I had a feeling that’s what they were doing when I saw the gold falling out of the balloon.

Went to see Honor Among Thieves. Had a great time. It’s a very authentic adaptation of the D&D experience.

Felt the same way. It’s hard to capture the spontaneity of a D&D session, let alone an entire arc.
