I can’t play 2p for vanilla Super Mario World since I grew up on the all star version.I hate the green Mario alt

One thing that would be cool if they remade the NES super mario bros games and world is to use the New super mario bros style of multiplayer.

It is really surprising that DDR: Mario Mix is the one and only time so far that Waluigi has actually had a major appearance outside of the dozens of Mario spinoff games.

…I mean, that’s still a spin-off.

Also, Wario’s never appeared in any of the RPG’s (apart from the W Emblem Badge allowing Mario to change his outfit to Wario’s color scheme).

Not to mention, the only mainstream Mario action games Wario has appeared are only Super Mario Land 2, and Super Mario 64 DS. Wario’s barely even a Mario character. (Probably because he was made by a different Nintendo development team then Miyamoto’s EAD team.)
 
A Wario Ware poster does appear in “Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga” BTW, so that’s sort’ve a cameo, and he had a scrapped cameo from that game, as well.

Would be nice, but Syrup might be too obscure, and forgotten unfortunately… Then again, K. Rool was too, but he had more overwelming demand to return in SSB.

Waluigi also appeared as an antagonist in two of the games in “Game & Watch Gallery 4.”
 
Not sure if that counts as a spinoff, as it’s a compilation of G&W games, but with Mario characters added to the “Modern” modes, and menus to make them more appealing. (Mr. G&W also appears with Mario in said game whenever you unlock a new game. This game came out a year after Melee.)

Chuggaa has finally reached the grandmaster galaxy in his galaxy 2 LP. There is no telling how many tries it will take him or how long it will take him to do the infamous daredevil prankster comet, which reduces your health unit to one and takes away all checkpoints.

“The Perfect Run” is probably one of the most challenging missions in any Mario game.
 
…But it is oddly kinda fun too, and nice it features SMG1 music in it as an easter egg.

Can’t wait to see if it’s an even worse trainwreck than TRG’s Champion’s Road runs during their 3D World LP…

One thing that would be cool if they ever remade paper mario 2 is to see the other partners from the first game show up as cameos.

Yeah, especially since they were supposed to originally (there are sprites for all of them in the game’s data, but in the final game only Parakarry and Bow made cameos).

During today’s episode of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Chuggaa absolutely roasted just how lazy the Super Mario encyclopedia was when it came to enemy names.

Didn’t Dark Horse screw up some of the enemy names in their localization of the book?
 
In fairness, their Zelda Encyclopedia, (have it) and Super Mario Odyssey Art Book (have it too) were pretty good.

I think people enjoyed the Zelda encyclopedia more because it had actual lore about Hyrule and the other lands that have appeared in Zelda games, as well as the various items, recurring characters outside of link,Zelda, and ganondorf, and enemy types. That is something that the Mario encyclopedia could have done as well.

Dark Horse literally took conjectural names and unlocalized names from MarioWiki whole cloth, among other things.
