Ah, I remember seeing the thumbnails for those when I lurked your channel. I need to listen those albums first and then give your videos a watch, looks interesting.

Just got done listening to that album. God what a heap of shit, good thing it was fairly short.

I tried sitting through Someday Came Suddenly after going for years of not listening to Attack Attack. I couldnt make it past 10 fucking minutes of that shit.

Oh yeah good times searching for new bands through AMVs, hating the world and everyone in it, wanting to do dye my hair black, listening to shitty mainstream Nu Metal, Pop Punk, Metalcore and Post-Hardcore, and thinking that I was super cool and anti-trendy when really I was.
 
I do have the pleasure of saying that I hated Asking Alexandria, Bring Me the Horizon, Blood on the Dancefloor and a lot of the super popular scenecore. I had a couple tracks by bands like A Static Lullaby, Greeley Estates, From First To Last, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Enter Shikari, Attack! Attack!, Abandon All Ships, A Skylit Drive, Alexisonfire (Thank fuck I at least had them), Aiden, Alesana, and others for my fix of mall emo and sceenie weenie when I was 12.

Ha, I actually liked Blood On the Dance Floor back when I was in my sceenie weenie phase. My favorite bands back then were Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Devil Wears Prada, Winds Of Plague, Brokencyde, Blood On The Dance Floor, Breathe Carolina, Iwreastledabear once. Yeah, I had pretty fucking terrible taste in my early teens/tweens. Luckily when I was 15 I discovered what real Metal was like and I ditched my scene phase.

Brokencyde and BOTDF? Fuck I thought I had it bad. I also used to like Breathe Carolina because one of their songs was on Tap Tap Revenge.
 
TDWP are one of the only scenecore bands that dont suck especially since they ditched being scene and matured from Dead Throne and onwards.
 
Iwrestledabearonce are a fun jam and are definitely an odd one out on that list bro. Theyre more Mathcore and dont take themselves very seriously. Tastes Like Kevin Bacon is one of the best song names ever made and the song itself is truly a masterpiece of the times.
 
Drop Dead Gorgeous are okay, theyre probably the closest to trve kvlt Metalcore than the majority of the shit bands that you and I listed off. Worse Than A Fairy Tale has a neat concept behind it. Ill also admit that I still dont mind early Greeley Estates, Aiden, and a couple of things by Enter Shikari though none of them I jam as much as I used to. Like I barely even touch them for the most part.
 
Also should mention that I used to like the non-scene Metalcore bands that scenekids still like ya know the melodeath infused core bands that were super popular like Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lay Dying (who were actually my first Metalcore band), and maybe a few others who I cant remember. Also A7X were a band that I loved back then too they sound nothing like the melodeathcore bands but they still get lumped in with those bands anyways, probably because they appealed to the same crowd.
 
 
In the end though as cringy as the scenecore music was in the 2000s least most of those bands are not as horrid as the 2010s wave of scenecore is like.

Strictly from a musical standpoint, I would agree. All the riffs are well-composed and mostly well-played. The production, lyrics, and vocal delivery are what screw this album up.
 
Of the two albums I’ve reviewed for WIRTB, Hot Space is a lot better.

I’m going admit, I still actually kind of like Drop Dead Gorgeous. I used to listen to Worse Than A Fairy Tale all the time when I was in middle school, still a pretty cool album honestly with an interesting plot in the lyrics.
 
With Blood On The Dance Floor, well, it’s one of those things you know is shit deep down, but you love it anyway because it’s different. Their popularity had more to do with how eccentric they were rather than actual songwriting skill.
 
And I agree that 2000’s scenecore music is much better than 2010’s scenecore, though I’m not a fan of scenecore music at all.

They’re metal yes. Dragonforce is a rather polarizing band, some people like them, a lot of people hate them. I personally like Dragonforce, especially the first album Valley Of The Damned.
 
Regardless of people’s opinions on them, they are metal.

For various reasons, some people find DF to be too cheesy, they had a shitty tour in 07 which led people to believe they can’t play live, or they think the songs all sound the same.
 
There’s also a rumor that their songs are sped up in the studio, however, there’s no proof of that.
 
I personally don’t mind music that it cheesy, and I don’t think it’s fair to judge the band based on one bad tour.
 
And as for all the songs sounding the same, well, AC/DC’s songs all sound the same, and I don’t see anyone bitching about that.

Very underrated Celtic folk metal! The lyrics are fuckin’ A also, possibly going to “trigger” some people, just to give a little heads up.
