I find ironic that Nintendo didn’t put Mai Shiranui in the game because she was too sexy and then later it put Pyra in Smash.

I don’t understand Nintendo sometimes. xD

Somebody hasn’t played Torna the Golden country.

Then again, Nintendo was asked by CERO (the Japanese ESRB) to cover them up.

You can’t really cover up Mai.

Nah. I’ve played 3 Xenoblade games for a couple of years (the Shulk one, the Pyra one and the X one from Wii U) and it’s not for me. It’s too anime for my taste and I don’t think one more Xenoblade game would make a difference.

If you could cover Pyra up, you also can cover Mai up.

All they gave Pyra (and Mythra) was stockings/pantyhose. You’d have to do a lot more than that for Mai (but doing so would risk changing her iconic look, something Sakurai and the Smash Team tried to avoid).

Yeah it’s easier to do that for both Pyra and Mythra. For Mai though that is hard.

Yep, due to Mai’s look being a iconic part of her design.

For Pyra/Mythra, it works, since it also kind of fits into their design with them being two halves of the same whole.

I don’t think that’s a spoiler considering how these two work in Smash Bros.

Pyra is the cute half, Mythra is the witch half.

I believe that SNK don’t want change a lot about her character if she wasn’t going to be a fighter in the game.

Thanks to certain circumstances, I will only play with friends or family.

I was in a couple of small tournaments in Smash (back when Brawl was a new game), but some players are really really good.

3DS version comes first?

Maybe they saw certain kinds of… Custom battle levels.

Though, you can disable those.
