X series is weird because they were supposed to end after X5, but Capcom wanted more X so we got 3 more games plus a spin-off. AND people(…myself included) still want X9 :p
 
Classic is sorta unfinished, but Capcom has really been open about not wanting to bridge the series as they think it’s too dark for the Classic series, Legends got fucked by Capcom and ZX just didn’t do as well as they wanted.
 
As far as the main series goes, Zero is the only one that ever got any closure

Is it true that Mega Man didn’t say anything in the Japanese version of MM7 when Wily told him that robots can’t harm humans?

Mega Man X8 was my favorite game and pretty much still is. I’ve wanted X9 for since 2004.
