Am I in the wrong somehow?

I would like to know if this actually puts me in the wrong somehow; I have the solo futa tag HIDDEN and all the time I’m seeing futa pictures with only one character in them. My initial approach was really bitchy, so now I just post a comment asking the uploader to please use the solo futa tag, then I add it to the picture myself.  
However, people take offense to this, and some went as far as to untag the solo futa tag I had added. In this one for example. >>713324  
I’d just like to know if I’m not allowed to ask for people to add a tag, if I should just add it myself without asking people to do it or if I should stop trying altogether, because it seems nobody likes this behavior?

Besides why add it when complex filtering will absolutely remove any need for it at all?

By your logic, nobody should bother with solo male and solo female tags, yet those are still widely used everywhere…

Well we don’t really have any universal male or female tags for general art. Solo futa however would just be a search of “solo,futa”.
 
Plus for now you can just search “futa,-solo” so you can exclude any solo futa pics.

A lot of people forget the solo tag also. Anyway, you’re just making an argument for the tag not needing to exist, which is fair, but I’d still like an explanation as to why people get so uppity when I ask for the tag.

I dunno what implications are on what, but if solo female has a solo implication, solo futa should get that as well.

Because when a lack of drama gets detected, drama should be made. Seriously though, sounds like a legit case, and you’re also doing the right thing by posting about it here*.
 
Keep in mind though, it should only be applied to sexually-ish pictures. Ie on a safe picture that happens to have one character that is definitely futa (I’m not sure what this would be but now that I mentioned it it will probably get created if it wasn’t a thing already) the solo futa tag should not be applied.
 

I really dispise the mentallilty that futa is hot and amazing but solo male is gross and icky.
 
But that is entirely unrelated to everything here. I can fully understand why anyone would want to hide ANY solo * image, I’d hide solo female myself if It was used really at all or of I cared that much.  
I never see anyone outrage if people miss that tag, so I guess no one else feels the same.  
Miss the solo male tag though and people whine and bitch about it to no end.  
In the end, every solo * tag SHOULD auto add solo too, but idk if they all do or not.

And yes, the “solo X” tags imply solo. Except maybe some outliers like “solo demigorgonsexual”.

If you mean it’s used on a small fraction of the images it would apply to, then yes, it is used a lot.

There are 41650 non-safe images with only one character on them. Out of these 26321 images are tagged solo female, and 3423 are tagged solo male. That’s a vast majority of properly tagged images, not a small fraction by far.

With your whopping 109 tag changes, I don’t see you doing much to fix this supposed grand and flagrant injustice. So I guess it’s either not that bad or you just don’t care.
