Just had a random, but not srs idea of a ‘secret shitposter’ badge for those up loads some hilariously offensive stuff as anon

Random thought. Mayhap a badge for those with an obsession devotion to a single pony? Like for example Chrysalislover, Professor_of_hoers or our resident unit of measure worth one-third of a tablespoon.

Little clickable badges people could add by themselves that link to profiles they may have on other sites.
 
If someone would like to let people know they have something like a Deviantart/Furafinity ect and let others know they draw.
 
Or Steam/PSN/XBL to let people know they are interested in playing games with others.
 
I think it would help make people on here a little more open.

Just an idea I came up with after visiting a bunch of gaming subreddits on reddit.  
I noticed they had the option to show your Usernames.  
I thought that it would be a good idea to do so with art site usernames.

I don’t think our profiles should start leaning toward blogsite stuff.

Reddit calls them flairs. They look cute, but can get really annoying when 20 different people have massive, multicolored flairs and they all are in the same thread. Please don’t do that.

I don’t think the site should include those features as this really isn’t a site built for social networking. Perhaps having a spot for artists to link their art sites in their profiles but other than that not really feeling that.

I have no “problem” with the idea. How did you even arrive at that utterly ridiculous conclusion?
 
I merely stated a simple fact; DB is not a FB-esque social networking site with “friending” and “walls” and whatnot. If means of communication with other users is the only criterion for “social networking”, then most – if not all – of the sites you listed would also count.
