Isn’t this exactly what the tags are for? like, it’s already been mentioned, but…

Tagging only goes so far. You’ve got to draw the line somewhere.

As I said, if people would tag their shit consistently, that argument would hold water.

Putting that here is dumb. For the people who do want it, well, it’s not like it’s a difficult DiY job. I don’t know. Fluffy sadism ponies were eventually allowed back here on auto filter (thankfully) so who’s to say the same won’t happen regarding this?

I don’t think that anyone likes the ‘cum on toy’ thing. Some might like disgusting others with them, but I refuse to believe that anyone finds a children’s toy covered in semen pleasant to look at.

A credible argument, one merely has to look at the scores on those images to know that. What few upvotes/faves there are likely come from trolls.

Well i’d say as long it has ponies in it it AND gets properly tagged (i’d say CoT is explicit).  
I don’t like explicit content so i usually keep those “spoiler’d”.
 
Then again i understand that some people may like explicit content and end up seeing a poorly edited limeparty and it’s pony related because someone used photoshop and have those 3 daring gentlemen have pony related skin/hair color!
 
My opinion: Meh do whatever because it has no effect on me anyway.

Topic sounds like a bad joke to me. “Cum on toy”? I had to slap myself in case I was still in the bad dream I was having last night.
 
Isn’t it one of the most basic rules of any site that obvious porn spam & anyone who attempts it should be banned?
 
Human nudity: I see this as a COMPLETELY different subject. Someone performing a sexual act is as bad as the above.
 
But that is ENTIRELY separate from “nudity”. I’d suggest a separate poll for that if it is needed. I’d personally allow cosplay and bodypaint, as long as the artistic value is what is primarily important in the picture.

No, that is NOT it, but I’m glad that it was brought up. The separation to be made is really like this, and this applies to any image on the site:
 
“obligatory pony” images - these are the ones that must not be allowed.  
This basically means posting something non pony related, then copypasting pony art on it. “Cum on pony” and such belong here because the doll in question could be anything. Stuff like “woman in pony bikini” should be evaluated on the basis whether their purpose is to showcase the pony related content - ie. the piece of clothing - or if the pony content is only an excuse to put something that is entirely not pony into focus.
 
But surely this is common sense.

I believe that both these things should probably be allowed, but the tags hidden/spoilered by default.

I kind of like the cum on toy photos, but I also agree that it’s very repetitive, easy and unoriginal thing to do/make. The second part if this sentence also applies to “blind bag in background = pony related” images.

The thing about these obligatory pony images: We all go to this site to look at ponies, So if someone comes along and posts a lot of selfies holding a blind bag; why the hell would we care?
 
it is the most basic rule ever: If you do not feed the attention whore, it dies.
 
All you have to do is follow the rule.
 
As for all the people complaining that tagging isn’t a valid solution because people don’t tag their shit: This is a community, help it thrive. If you see missing tags; fix it so that others don’t have too.
 
Just stop crying Eye bleach, and just be glad that you can prevent someone else (At least those who do not unfilter it) from seeing that stuff.

Are we discourged from voting if we only view non explict images on the booru?
 
I’m also guessing that a pratical use of this ban is when some blockhead post such an image on the site using misleading tags (putting safe when it’s explict).

I did the poll. I’m not bothered by the stuff in general, so I have no issues with it being on here.

And a reminder that the options aren’t a binary allow/ban, but also default spoiler or hide. We want to have the “defaults” be as comfortable to the average user as possible, and given what we’ve observed, the vast majority of users unhiding Explicit do not want to see some of the content being discussed. It is more unfair to tell them to hide it than it is to tell the (tiny) minority to unhide it.

I think the important thing here is that what’s posted is primarily pony, not “something with pony added in so it can get on site”. When I come to this site I come for the ponies,I mean isn’t that why we come here anyway? If I wanted to look at human porn I would go to a porn site,there are millions out there…no seriously there is no shortage in human porn out there. Cosplay I can understand…to a degree,as long as that is tagged or spoilered I’m happy.
 
Now…“Cum on Toy” no single sane person here actually enjoys these pictures. If you want a picture of that you can do it yourself with ease,I’m sure everyone out there has a 5$ pony they can use…
 
But I don’t really think it even really is focusing on the pony,it’s focusing on the pony and the ,if you want to say, “sick” person that did the deed. Toys are fine if you’re showing it off like “hey look at my rare pony or cute plushy! :3” just not when you are going to just throw some shit on it take a pic and call it a day.
 
Yes,some of you are saying “just tag it,it’ll be fine” alot of people can’t tag their stuff properly…it’s somehow to hard or they are just to damned lazy to type 3-4 words.
 
I also see that the majority want “Cum on Toy” gone,I’m part of the 98% here. I doubt you are going to leave the site forever just because they removed that ONE minor tag. There are other sites if you REALLY want to see that kind of stuff. You aren’t limited to this site,no I’m not saying “Oh you don’t like it leave” far from it. I’m just saying that when the majority of people do not want it and these pics are usually in the -40’s that it kinda sends a signal. Majority vote rules,it’s how it’s always been. Alot like electing a president or prime minister, whoever gets the most votes wins. Easy as that. Only difference here is that the vote’s are most likely NOT rigged in favor of one side or the other that we ALL know is not going to win the vote…
