Tag merge propositions

Some tags are misleading, outdated, redundant and naming the same element in a few different ways. If you think that this topic might help the mods make this site more organized, then please provide your merging ideas. Don’t forget to mention it here if you spot tags that might be merged.
 
Here are some of mine:
 
telekinesis, glowing horn => magic  
snuggling => snuggles  
hugging => hug  
levitation, levitating, hovering => floating  
gif => animated (since ‘animated’ tag does not really show animated pics)
 
During writing this I found that a few of the tags I had on mind had recently been merged.

“youtube” relates to screencaps that has sources that lead to a video. “Youtube caption” only relate to pictures with YouTube caption. Image macro is a picture with simple caption on it. and a “screencap” is an image alone.  

 
People have multiple names for a couple. I say let them tag it with their name  

 
“horse” is for photoshopped horses. “hoers” is for caricatures.  

 
Singular Vs. Plural

faceswap, face swap, headswap => faceswap
 
Three separate tags for the same thing. Admittedly it is hard to keep track…

The tags “bunny” and “rabbit” could be merged and aliased.

What exactly is the difference between the “milky way” and “milkmare of trottingham” tags?

Honestly there isn’t much of a difference between the two. I would say that the “milkmare of trottingham” tag is a way of filtering between Milky Way the character and Milky Way the candy/galaxy.

and the G1 pony Milky Way, and the pony whom the wiki calls “Milky Way” (but seems to go by “Mercury” here instead)

>>344367 It was originally only tagged with artist:lovewolf5122 I recognized the art style and, after googling on ‘lovewolf5122’ came out on pixiv where there are more images that were originally tagged artist:wolfwings  
A google search on ‘pixiv wolfwings’ leads to one of the Fluttershy images as well.
 
I added wolfwings for now; I can’t read Japanese so I don’t know what the actual name is, but we might need an alias here to make sure things don’t get lost?
