Bon-bon is a changling and that’s why her voices are always different.
Trixie is not actually a snob, she just pretends to be because she thinks she can impress ponies enough to make them be her friends.
lyra is not human obsessed, that was when she was younger, but she got into a habit of sitting weird.
Rarity lived on a farm as a filly.
Applejack actually likes to eat oranges too, but her family would not like that so nopony knows.
Sparkler is not derpy and the doctor whooves’ daughter, dinky just did not have anyone alse to go with in the sister hooves social so sparkler decided to help out.
Cheerilee is actually twice as old as the mane six, she just doesn’t look like it.
Big macintosh has a doll collection so he can practice being a father…hence why he grabbed smarty pants.
Spitfire is lightning dust’s mom, so she really only sent her to her room at the end of wonderbolt academy episode.

While Star Swirl the Bearded possessed vast knowledge, he didn’t actually have much magical power. His talent was related to discovery, rather than magic in general or even casting spells.
Part of the reason that he created so many spells, was because he didn’t possess the power needed to brute-force a solution, and so needed to create utility spells tailor-made for the current situation.
He had a beard as the result of a misfire of a hair growth spell, and kept it because he was too embarrassed to explain that it was a mistake. Over time, it grew to be what most ponies identified him by.
Star Swirl actually had a hobby of weightlifting and learned a great deal of close combat, as a result of his magic being weak enough that it was of little use in combat. This ultimately helped him in battle, as ponies would prepare for a spells when fighting him, leaving them open to his devastating hoof-to-hoof skills.
The G4 earth pony Star Swirl is actually a distant descendant of his, and has the same color scheme, and even the same cutie mark design, although they attributed different meanings to their mark.
