Lyra isn’t obsessed with humans. She’s obsessed with elves.

The Crystal Empire was a hedonistic, super-hippie society until Sombra’s rule. Their free love past and traumatic experiences have brought them down to a normal, Equestrian Pony-like mentality.

The crystals in the Crystal Empire and gems that dragons eat are completely different things. Ponies moved north to the empire because not only is it mineral poor, it also is too cold for dragons.

At the end after Sunset got defeated, Twilight’s human friends lost their powers when the portal closed. Leads me to believe that the Mane 5 were channeling their powers into the human world when they sensed Twilight in trouble. The humans were borrowing powers from Equestria.
 
Sort of reminds me of the Full Syncro thing from the Megaman Battle Network series.

Prince Blueblood is not royalty by birth, he was adopted by Celestia. He is extremely insecure about his low birth, which is why he acts like a douche.
 
The reason Rarity is so obsessed with appearances is because she was friendless dork in school who was mercilessly bullied. She never told her parents and the teachers were apathetic leading Rarity to believe it was all her fault for not being good enough.
 
Twilight Sparkle’s early school life was much the same, leading her to withdraw into study and fostering a belief that she didn’t need friends.
 
Rainbow Dash’s Mom encouraged Dash to become obsessively competitive and to hate losing as a way to vicariously relive her own days as a champion athlete.
 
Pinkie Pie is not insane. She’s just an extremely friendly pony with some boundary issues who loves to laugh and make people smile. (Hey at this point that is a truly crazy headcanon). Also despite there seeming austerity Pinkies parents were perfectly nice and pleasant people, when we saw them they were just tired from a long day of rock farming. Her father in particular had a fantastic sense of humor and taught Pinkie everything she knows about comedy, though she never did quite get the hang of irony.
 
Applejack was named after her father’s favorite beverage. She also blames herself for her parent’s deaths even though she could in no way have prevented the barn fire that took their lives. If she ever smelled cooking meat it would trigger a PTSD flashback to her parents deaths.
 
Fluttershy’s parents were abusive to each other and neglectful to her.

You got a nice theory on Applejack and her family.

Since Fluttershy makes little to no money from her animal care, she instead makes a secret living as an author. She writes two kinds of books, both under pseudonyms, really disturbing horror (we’re talking like if Lovecraft and Stephen King had a crack baby together levels of disturbing here) and erotic romance novels (that Rarity and secretly Applejack go through like popcorn). There have been multiple campaigns from the Equestrian equivalent of Focus on the Family to get the books banned as being a bad influence on foals.
 
Rarity is a gigantic pervert behind closed doors, but hides her massive stash of porn and custom made bondage gear out of fear of being found out because a lifetime of bad advice has convinced her that no Lady would ever actually enjoy sex.
 
Twilight dreams of being an author, but she is a terrible, terrible writer prone to purple prose, self insert Mary Sue’s and taking eighteen pages to describe what should take a paragraph.
 
Alcohol is technically illegal in Ponyville, but authorities turn a blind eye to it so long as it is sold discreetly. The Apple family has a still hidden somewhere on Sweet Apple Acres.

Applejack’s parents die because they were protecting Applebloom. Applebloom is to blame for the parents death but Applejack and Big Mac don’t say anything about it. Atleast that’s my headcanon.
 
Pinkie Pie’s parents are not amish, they farm rocks which have enough to build a lot of stuff from them. Meaning the Rock Farm is actually important.

Celestia keeps Blueblood around because she has reason to believe he has some great destiny in store for him. She has grown increasingly frustrated because it has yet to reveal itself to her.

When trying to see if King Sombra could be redeemed, Princess Celestia sneaked in, posing as some of the hired help. What convinced Celestia that Sombra was a monster unworthy of redemption was not his enslavement of the Crystal Ponies, since that sort of thing kind of pales to some of the crimes of the characters that we’re meant to forgive, but rather the fact he was a asshole to her while she was posing as his maid.

Pound and Pumpkin Cake’s future talents are boxing and pumpkin carving, respectively.

Fluttershy smokes three packs a day.
 
Sometimes when Twilight’s been extra obnoxious or dismissive of him Spike stands at the foot of her bed while she sleeps holding a knife and wondering if he’ll ever have the guts to go through with it.
 
Celestia was really hoping that Rarity and Blueblood would hook up at the gala, just to get him out of her hair for awhile.
 
Rainbow Dash writes terrible Daring Do fanfiction.
 
Luna lives in perpetual fear of losing her sister, both because Celestia is the only one she can really talk to.
 
Pinkie actually has a genius level intellect and is the most advanced moral philosopher in Equestrian history. She has concluded that the only way to live an ethical life is to devote it to making others happy, and having fun while doing so is just a nice bonus.

Er, okay. She must have started rather recently then, because her voice is as soft and light as it’s always been.
 
The Spike in PONY.MOV maybe, but never canon!Spike. Even if Spike is a dragon, one of the most naturally powerful and feared races on the planet, he’s not stupid enough to try and murder a Princess of Equestria.
 
Headcanon accepted! I personally ship Blueblood/Trixie, and Celestia is very pleasantly surprised that the snobbish Blueblood has found his “other half”, so to speak. Just like a mirror shows you as you are, sometimes you need somepony like you to see just how much of a jerk you’ve been to everypony.
 
I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if this was made canon. It’s already canon that she writes bad “self-insert” fanfiction (see “Spike At Your Service”)

Also this. Pinkie is obviously very intelligent and mechanically inclined, having built her own pedal-powered flying machine, the “Welcome Wagon” thing, and of course, the Party Cannon.

I ship Blueblood with whatever seems funniest to me at the time, but I could totally see Blueblood x Trixie and it is hilarious.
 
I want to see an episode of Dash trying to get her friends to read her fanfic and just all of their reactions to its awfulness (Fluttershy trying to avoid actually making any real criticism, Twilight having an aneurysm from the terrible grammar, Rarity demaning a Romantic subplot ect.)

Prince Blueblood got promoted to Shinings Ranks since shining is no longer in the royal gaurds and He Changed everything about the royal Gaurds to match his style(Made The Uniforms to match his colours) Also He became Alot more ruthless since he got promoted
