Do I need to remind all of you that this is a fandom that regularly ships a married stallion with his former deceptive abuser and paints it as a cute thing, or a married mare with her husband’s former abuser. And pairs all the moms together because milf or some bullshit.

I don’t think killing Clear Sky is necessary, Dash and Quibble have enough of a great dynamic already. Quibbledash is still the top straight ship for Rainbow Dash.

lol even when characters end up getting married or get together with someone else that’s never stopped people before. Hell, there are people still shipping Katara and Zuko, Naruto and Sakura, etc., long after their respective series have paired those characters with others
