Cobalt looks at Pencil, then at his project, then back down the hallway, then at his project, and, once again, at Pencil.
 
After this moment of deliberation is over, he groans and drops the project- a small brazen figurine of a pony on a large rectangular pedestal, and then runs down to where Star is working. “Hang on, I’ll help too!” he shouts down the hall as he goes.

Pencil: Sees the project fall and crawls towards it, hugging it tightly

Though the figurine is made of metal, from the way she is holding it, Pencil does feel its foreleg move slightly.
