subway train is not an appropriate main tag for this IMO because the actual trains are only part of a subway system. But subway train could/should imply train and subway (transportation) (or subway if that’s made the main tag for subway infrastructure).subway to refer to the restaurant in any case because letting the brand “claim” the generic word while the universal generic concept of a subway gets a “qualified” tag doesn’t sit right with me.subway while adding the specifier to subway (restaurant). Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to add a specifier to both since people will still use subway for one or the other anyway. Autocomplete should help people figure out which tag is for which. Also agree with giving the specifier to the generic term instead of a brand name, especially since the word ‘subway’ existed long before the restaurant did.

One of them being the “parent and the other being aliased into it?In the past, it’s always sounded a little like one was the actual generator and the other was a UI/models used by the generator, or something similar. And then there’d be a brief discussion of models and versions, and then it would just die out.
