If I’m posting pages of a comic, some pages may warrant higher ratings than others if considered individually. Is there a way to indicate that a specific page, while safe, is part of an “explicit” set?

If the source has explicit images you could tag it with “explicit source”. There might be others I’ve missed since I don’t really look at NSFW art on here.
Background Pony #43C3
I’m not aware of any tag used to mean “part of a series that has posts rated higher than this one”.

Cool Crow - "Caw!" An awesome tagger
Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).
Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

You could mention it in the description but I’m not aware of a tag for this. Tagging each page with the rating appropriate to it should be enough for those who don’t want to see the explicit parts to be warned about them automatically.

What I’ve seen done, which seems to work really well, is that you link the pages together in the description. And as a part of that give warnings if the “NEXT” page is rated differently than the current.
For example:
NOTE: This series includes explicit scenes, so browse with care!
<< Cover (SFW)
<- Previous Page (SFW)
YOU ARE HERE
-> Next Page (NSFW - EXPLICIT)
-> End Page
It’s a lot of work, but it does seem to work well.
Some just make an index of page by page, like:
Cover (Safe)
Page 1 (Safe)
Page 2 (Suggestive)
Page 3 (Questionable)
Page 4 (Explicit)
Page 5 (Safe)
Then they post that on every description for the series once it’s all done.
When artists don’t do this - like, have a series with a lot of SFW pages and then a couple explicit pages, and don’t provide any kind of warnings about the series as a whole then we do get reports about it.
But - there’s nothing rule breaking about NOT doing this.
If people don’t want to see explicit content, they can just set their filters accordingly, and then if each page is rated appropriately, they just get a spoiler for that page and have to decide if they want to click through to see the image.

@Ciaran
Thanks. I’ll consider adding links in the description, and I think I’ve made it pretty clear what type of series it is (but I’ll take extra care to make sure that description is on every image). I was just wondering if something like a “part of an explicit set” tag would be useful, but I guess if there hasn’t been a pressing need for it in all the years Derpibooru has been up, it isn’t that vital.
