Have you tried FimFiction? Their search bar only searches by Title of Story, which is annoying, so what you do is go to Google and type ”??? site:fimfiction.net”, except replace the ??? with whatever you want (and remove the quotation marks)

I know that feeling. About a week ago, I found this excellent story where Octavia is a rich bitch and Vinyl agrees to be her servant for two weeks so Octavia can pay for Vinyl’s everything for a year. Thing is…they absolutely hate each other.
 
It only had one chapter at time of posting, but it was looked very promising and was expecting some Scratchtavia angry sex…but I could never find the story ever again.
 
The title, I believe, was Servitus, so maybe you’ll have more like finding it.

I found a good one about a changeling being captured and studied by twilight- from the changeling’s persective. the some jerk insulted the fic and the author re-wrote the whole thing into utter junk.

Yea, there are some good stories I’ve found but they take forever to update. There’s this one story which is a straight up, fantasy driven fetish, but the author delivers it in a well constructed manner that isn’t some X happens Y occurs and thus it = Sex. Only thing that irritates me is the fact the author only updates its like once a year, so the story is only up to 2 chapters.
 
I’m a hypocrite though, since I have a story I posted up about 2+ years ago I never posted up the second chapter to and kinda stopped. I got a bit discouraged by a website refusing my story, well I should say stories since they aren’t up to their level. In the end, I’m going to remedy that little problem as I’ve started working on the story once more.

While I wouldn’t call any of my stories “good,” I definitely understand that viewpoint, but from the other side of the fence, since many of the stories that I write end up turning out like that. It always feels like a major accomplishment whenever I can find enough time to actually update my stories.

I’m a little annoyed with Fimfic as of late. To be honest, I feel sorry for authors who have decent stories but little followers, and the same going for authors with a few followers. Seems like these ubber people are getting shoved higher towards the top with little recognition for the smaller guys.

On this old ACNL forum, I used to write fanfiction for commission. Not real, hard cash, mind you, but forum points that could be used for real life game codes, in-game ACNL items, etc. I wish I could do that here.

Well, I decided to vent my anger over the latest DDOS attack and write up a fanfic where ship bashers beat up Flash Sentry and Soarin’ to death and the realistic consequences of that.
 
Also might be considering adding a Mykan expy in there. Probably might end up being like Sonic Gets Trolled.

I don’t know, it seems like every story I read about Vinyl and Octavia has one or both of them having hyper-strict and/or abusive parents. I guess music is one of the best outlets for one’s suffering, and it does make for good drama.

A story where Rainbow finds out Celestia is her mom, and has some half siblings, but without any alicorn-faffery.

I’m hesitant to release a new story since I feel like things are rather awkward for me on Fimfic. Most of the authors I see on there have around 12 to 16 stories, yet I’m sitting at 30 to 31 stories. Thankfully the people looking at my stories feel they are decent enough and give me a thumbs up, but it feels like I’m going for semi-quality with more quantity vs quality with semi-quantity like other others. shrug
 
Anyways, I’ve almost got a story finished up about Apple Bloom. This took some brainstorming, but I got it to where I want it. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo decide to earn their cutie marks at a lumber mill. Needless to say, one gets hurt. Apple Bloom gets taken home where she learns there’s more to her than what ponies see in front of them.

You know, I’m glad the show introduced Twittermites. I needed a lightning-element creature to serve as a summoned monster for that Equestria Girls/Final Fantasy crossover I never shut up about, and I didn’t want to have to make one up.

Shining Armor wakes up alone one morning in his bed with a bad hangover. He notices two aspirin and a glass of water on the nightstand next to him. After taking the aspirin and drinking the water, he walks to the kitchen to find Cadance making breakfast.
 
“Good morning sweetheart! Sleep well?”
 
“I slept fine, I guess….Cadance, what happened last night?”
 
“Well, you went out drinking, had too much, stumbled back home, and vomited on the front step before passing out.”
 
“So…why the nice treatment?”
 
“Because when I carried you inside, you woke up long enough to shout ‘Get off me, mare! I’m a married stallion!’”

Fluttershy, tired of everypony ignoring her or talking over her, becomes very sarcastic and passive-aggressive. Of course, nopony notices…at first.
 
(Seriously fanfic writers, she’s very shy, but Fluttershy isn’t a spineless doormat.)

Each of the mane six get the perfect significant other.

Not sure if you intended the story to be a comedy, I love the idea of said changeling’s “alter egos” starting to bleed into each other when they’re scheduled for two “dates” at once. XD
 
So, you know how (almost) everyone universally despises the grimdark character-derailing Pinkie fanfic Cupcakes, yet it’s referenced all the time in fan media? (Such as Pinkie innocently echoing one of her Cupcake quotes about hacksaws or whatnot, having a bloodthirsty alter-ego, etc?) Well, not sure if this has been done, but imagine this:
 
A story introduces a character who’s a (much more kid-friendly) “expy” of Cupcakes!Pinkie (maybe based on one of the toyline exclusives [WARNING: TVTROPES LINK]). Pinkie, meanwhile, has deliberately secluded herself from her friends after fears that she may have innocently hurt them (perhaps in a similar incident to her treatment of Fluttershy in “Filli Vanilli”), and ends up befriending this not-Pinkie-but-based-on-Cupcakes-Pinkie pony (let’s just call them “Hackney” as a placeholder name). Pinkie appreciates that her “being Pinkie” doesn’t scare or annoy Hackney and originally bonds quite well with this character, up until Pinkie gets hints of how twisted he/she is.
 
After some internal conflict within Pinkie, she confronts Hackney about his/her behavior, only for Hackney to respond with the usual “we’re not so different” villain song-and-dance. Which only strengthens Pinkie’s internal conflict until some moment makes her realize that, yeah, her guilt after accidentally hurting others does make her different from Hackney. And we get some sort of climatic confrontation where Pinkie tells Hackney to his/her face that they’re nothing alike (in a speech that can also double as Pinkie calling out why she would never act the way she does in Cupcakes).
 
I guess it would all end up being pretty similar to the episode “Wonderbolts Academy,” with a hero meeting a shadow archetype of themselves without their morals.

It’s interesting, and might certainly work better than WA, but it might be seen as just another story complaining about Pinkie’s psychotic portrayal in a fic that was never supposed to be taken seriously.

I had an idea for a fic that was…inspired…by Cupcakes. You know how in that story, and other stories like it, Pinkie is a very high-functioning sociopath? The whole “normal pony on the outside, insane cannibal on the inside”? And how she apparently has this elaborate formula on who she’s going to kill today?
 
My story was going to be about Gilda (or another griffon) as the killer. No elaborate schemes, no torture, no disguising the inner insanity, just Gilda swooping out of the sky one day and tearing into a pony right there in Town Square, Discovery Channel-style.
 
It is the polar opposite of Cupcakes, and yet, similar creeping horror and paranoia.
