Okay, maybe this show is self-aware.
I guess presenting its McGuffin scientifically gives Sakuta (and, thus, the viewer) hope that there is a mundane, non-magical solution to their problem. Which makes Sakuta’s attempt at a fix a bit more meaningful. The main pair’s chemistry was still good, the back-and-forth between them was cute,
the goodbye was sad. Hell, I even liked all the
hyper-romantic shit in the end. I was dead wrong, this show is damn good. This could be my surprise of the season.
