Wow, this is just, I have no words. BL3 may have keylogging spyware on it.

No, not Epic, Borderlands 3 has it. Keylogging Spyware, which mines user data.

It better, this is only screwing over legit customers to keep a few pirates out. Cuz once it’s cracked, that’s it. Anti-piracy measures never work, at least not flawlessly, and they always server to screw over the ones who support the game genuinely. And ironically, anti-piracy encourages more piracy.

Still, some games have some pretty awesome trollish ways to fight piracy.
 
The best one was, a sim game about running your own video game company, and if you pirate the game, your business will become totally screwed over by piracy.

Those are cool, and kinda funny. I wish devs did those like the shooting chickens from your gun or not being able to jump in mirror’s edge. Sadly most of them only use measures that harm paying customers more than pirates.

Game Dev Simulator used that. One of the Batman Arkham games did something similar by disabling Batman’s glider cape, meaning pirates would get quite far before realizing they were stuck.

Gonna get good at Apex Legends one of these days.

Ps4 you can pick which camera mode it is indeed 1st person lol and it’s badass realistic bullet drop

3rd person is for close quarters combat and 1st is for sniping ridiculously far targets

You can play through the entirety of BL3 offline after installing it.

Not on PC, it has always online DRM.

Do you have a source for that? Reviews for PC mention playing offline just fine, and random forum posts decrying “always online” are usually followed by people saying they’re playing offline.

It’s a Acer laptop.
 
It can play Borderlands 2 well enough with a few lags from time to time, but it’s smooth most of the time.  
Minecraft also works at a render distance of 16, but starts to noticeably lag when above 20.  
Pixel games are smooth as butter. So no exceptions on that.

I mean, I know denuvo lets you play offline after first activation, but I was hearing about people not being able to stream and struggling to run the game on a 2080ti. Either way the DRM shouldn’t be there in the first place because again, it never works and only screws over the paying customers, since it’s useless the moment it gets cracked.

“Offline after activation” and “always online” are mutually exclusive… Like I said, sounds like a bug (which considering it’s Gearbox, is to be very expected) turned into FUD to claim the game is “always online” spyware.
