Yeah, that is what i mean, i miss when artist jump like crazy with new characters, it still happens, but not as fast as it use to be.

RIG is saying “artists don’t seem to turn out art of new characters as quickly as they used to,” not “no one draws art of new characters at all.”
Of course there’s a ton of art work of Coco Pommel, she’s been around two years now.
Yes, we still see “that was fast” art work, because some artists are crazy like that. It’s just not at quite the same intensity some of us are familiar with. Also, I don’t think RIG was putting artists down for not being so quick.
Did you check the “that was fast” tag? Mysticalpha posted his pic the very moment the airing ended.
Though the content may have been a good guess based on previews so we’ll never know if the real prize isn’t really deserved by Alumx instead. :p

Besides, interest in spotting/naming bg characters has dwindled several seasons ago, that’s a well known fact.
But hey, you just made a thread for naming this filly, so we can keep the tradition alive here on Derpibooru! Also tags are a (not?) surprisingly effective method for spreading names fast.
It’s depends on character. Zippoorwhill have 117 images, Coco have 2351, Ditzy Doo (purple-maned from Winter Wrap Up) - ~20.
I mean people use to draw a lot new characters minutes after they came out, but not anymore, i was wondering why.
