Let’s look at these ships for a moment.
 
CheeriMac: Spawned from a episode that was about the problems of forcing your ships on other, and making this ship canon would do more harm that good.
 
FlutterMac: “Their both shy, so they love each other!” I personally see Mac as someone who doesn’t like to share his thoughts instead of shy, though that’s just me.
 
MarbleMac: Only canon ship, not much is canon aside from them liking each other, and seems that people either love it or hate it.
 
Conclusion: People just like to ship, even if it doesn’t make sense or would work.

This ship just proves that people in this fandom don’t know what they really want.

Probably because it’s a show where the main characters are girls, and when it’s a slice of life show starring a mostly girl cast, you’re gonna see hate when one of the main characters find an official guy. Like how the japanese band of over 200 girls AKB48 banned dating so the male fans don’t get thier fantasies ruined, and when a member broke that rule, she was bullied until she dumped her boyfriend! Yeah, fandoms have some sort of stubborn side to them, such as Pokemon’s gen wunners, and this one point when former Naruto fans wanted to ban the final chapters of the Shippuden manga after figuring out that Naruto and Hinata get married in the Last Movie, or this recent show of stubborness of how the non-japanese anime fans managed to piss off japanese anime fans because of how our foreign opinions of what we think the next anime videogame should be, even though we’ve purchased millions of copies of thier Naruto and DBZ games, making thier japanese companies rich!
