Applejack as Tiana Why: They are both hard working characters.
Fluttershy as Snow White Why: They both love to communicate with Animals although Snow White seems to be less shy than Fluttershy.
Rarity as Jasmine Why: They have the beauty, and they aren’t afraid to speak their mind to no matter who they are against. Also they are both stubborn and caring.
Twilight Sparkle as Belle Why: Simply put they are both bookworms and love to read books.
Pinkie Pie as Ariel Why: This one was the hardest to chose. But the closest personality that matches would probably be Ariel. Because they can be random at times, like when Ariel brushed her hair with a fork in the human world even though she was adapting to that world. Also they are both fun loving. And can get easily get bored when there’s no fun at all.
Rainbow Dash as Alice Why: I know what you’re thinking “Why didn’t you pick Pocahontas, Mulan or Merida?!”
but before you post your arguments in the comments, just hear me out. Alice might not be tomboyish, or athletic like Rainbow Dash, but they have more in common then you may think. They both can get bored, just watch Swarm of the Century or Testing Testing 1 2 3. Speaking of Testing Testing 1 2 3, Rainbow Dash is like Alice all throughout the episode. They are both Curious. Don’t believe me? Just go watch the end of It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies, DragonShy, and It’s About Time just to name a few. They don’t take name calling lightly. Do I even have to tell you which episode to watch? Alice and Rainbow Dash can sometimes get easily annoyed and impatient. Enough said. Both can give up hope in a matter of minutes. Rainbow Dash and Alice both act professionally to Ms. Harshwhinny and the Queen of Hearts respectively. Alice does actually compete by playing croquet with the Queen. And they both daydream and nap. Now you see why Rainbow Dash is the perfect match for Alice. Alice may not have the major traits as Rainbow Dash, but she have a lot of minor traits that are common to the Rainbow Maned Pegasus. Others might match her major traits like Pocahontas, Mulan and Merida but they don’t have a lot in common like Alice. (Also they are both blue even though Alice is just wearing blue clothes)

It rock if Rarity and Jasmine bond, sing together, fight side by side, and also laugh.
Pinkie with Aerial? It rock tos ee them bond. And enjoy time together including songs.
Flurtershy with Snow White? Wow. It be sweet to see them bond, sing together, and help animals.
It rock to see Belle and Twylight bond. Both brave and gentle. And clever.
Rainbow with Alyce? Rock on. It rock if they bond, laugh, fight side by side, and get adventures together.
Why did I not thought of Rainbow Dash as Wendy before. Plus Pinkie Pie as Alice for sure. There we go problem solved.
Pinkie does go better with Vanellope now that you mention, and I’m thinking of it.

Not quite sure about Rarity as Jasmine…with her flair for the (melo)dramatic, I might’ve put her as Sleeping Beauty instead. :)
Pinkie and Dashie as Ariel and Alice? Sorry, I don’t see either of those…I’d’ve maybe put Pinkie as Alice (loose grip on reality lol), and Dashie maybe as Wendy? Can be a team mum when the need arises, but also likes to have adventures (and can fly, too). ;D

Uh, loyal to her family? Does stuff without thinking it through? Sounds like Dash to me.
I’m not so sold on Rapunzel. And while Merida does have the tomboyish, athleticism, and the fearless traits, but nothing else is common with Dashie.
And Dash is Rapunzel at the least. But Merida does suit her better.
Well it was hard to research a character that comes close to Pinkie’s personality. Also while Pocahontas, Mulan, or Merida may have the major traits of Rainbow Dash, but they really don’t have much more in common unlike Alice.
