Description
A quickly colored version of a 30 minute challenge entry. There was too much for me to do within the time limit so I originally submitted this with no color and really messy dialogue boxes.
I’d say they are on amicable terms now.
“what?”
*splat*
“GET BACK HERE SO I CAN SHARE THIS CAKE WITH YOU”
“no regrets!”

Oh I won’t disagree on that. The series does love to show the snooty entitled class and their behavior. I’m merely pointing out an angle the whole thing could be viewed from.
Nay, I’d just saying he was purposefully written to be the snobby and unlikable prince. Period

To those of us who know her actual motivation, no she isn’t a gold digger. To Prince Blueblood’s point of view there is no appreciable difference between social climber, gold digger, or naive moron… err dreamer. She was there to have him make her life better period.
Actually I’d say it was more her being too generous with her time and wishing to both impress and gain acceptance by the Canterlot elite. To be seen as an important pony by them despite living in Ponyville, and not being born into wealth or high society.
“That is all” doesn’t work if you agree she was trying to climb the social ladder. Whether that was more important to her is debatable, but it’s also true Rarity later had a whole episode about blowing off her friends in favour of climbing the social ladder.
So climbing up the social ladder is a bad thing? Also she was more in it for the fairytale romance, thinking that she could have such a relationship that everything will work out the way they were in the stories. If anything, she was naive and that is all.

Which is totally different.
Yeah, she wasn’t a gold digger, she was a social climber.
She was not acting like a gold digger. She wasn’t in it for the money or wealth! So calling her a gold digger is stupid, and puts aside her actual motivations.

No reason they can’t acknowledge that should they ever decide to make an episode of the premise.
Eh might as well. They’ve already turned Diamond Tiara around so why not do so with Blueblood. I mean personally I think he had plenty of reason to be nasty to Rarity given that she was acting like a gold digger that episode.
I would love it. And the voice actor, Vincent Tong, is on record saying he would love to do Blueblood again.
Er. His voice, that is.
Not like Rarity hasn’t already forgiven much worse by this point.
Well, you can’t always have their cake and eat it, too.
Absolutely saccharine.
Oh? Do you find this cake banter too… sweet?
Liked it better when you hated each other.
