Did anyone ask about this machine yet? I’m still curious about how it works. Also, do these ponies have names?

The thing is the tickets you caught were the ones you kept, it didn’t dispense tickets like that. But, maybe their version is different?

Considering all the tickets coming out of the reward slot, the game might be already over, explaining the lack of flying objects.

There is a machine for a similar purpose where you stand and it blows money all around you, mostly 1s and a few 5s but a couple larger bills as well usually. You grab as much as you can within an allotted time. They have a similar machine for kids that spews tickets around for them to catch. Chuck E. Cheese used to have one, don’t know if they still do. Was long after my time.
 
When I originally saw the machine in the image I thought it was the same thing, but the lack of tickets flying around is what made me think otherwise.

Well, just discovered what may be that thing, there’s an machine on las vegas that you place someone inside and money will start to come out from all sides of the machine, you have to get as much money as possible while you are flying and then place on a small drawer to get your reward, but on equestria it’s only bits, so hasbro really took the game out of context.
